Vector Swiss-German Inspired Card Suit Symbols by LilFluff Vector Swiss-German Inspired Card Suit Symbols by LilFluff
This is a set of the card suit symbols made in Inkscape, inspired by a blend of German & Swiss-German card suit symbols. According to Wikipedia the German set is Hearts/Bells/Acorns/Leaves, while the Swiss-German set is Roses/Bells/Acorns/Shields. I went with a flower symbol since the French set has a heart, and a leaf to go for maximum difference from the bell and acorn. On this set it was the leaf that gave me the most trouble. The images I saw online had leaves that were similar in shape to a spade but I decided to go for a maple leaf inspired shape. The flower was actually pretty simple, I created the center, one petal, and then duplicated that petal rotating each duplication 45 degrees.
